Nobody Buys Longevity
Nobody buys longevity.
People do not walk into a clinic saying “I want to live longer”.
- My energy has dropped a lot lately.
- I can’t lose weight.
- I can’t recover the way I used to.
- I can’t sleep.
- I’ve entered menopause and my body has changed a great deal.
- There is heart disease in my family — what can I do already now?
- I don’t want to lose my performance as I get older.
What people are looking for is often not longevity at all.
- Feeling better.
- Noticing their risks earlier.
- Preserving their energy, strength and mental capacity.
- Having more control over their own health.
Longevity is the umbrella term we use. But from the patient’s side, value starts with what that term changes in their daily life.
This is why it is not enough for a clinic to simply say “we offer longevity services”.
The real question is this: why will people walk through your door?
I believe this will be one of the most important points separating the successful longevity models of the future.
Explaining longevity is one thing; turning it into a health service that people genuinely need is another.
